On the other hand, if you are confidence with your skills and if you think that you could handle your guitar very well, you can try to teach new guitarists. This obviously can help you generate money, but you should spend some before getting paid. For example, you need to post an ad on the newspaper so that people would know you and approach you for lectures. Of course, another way for finding customers is that you could show your talent in music stores to attract people to follow you. However, you must need to tell people about the no. of years that you have played guitar in order to bring them confidence.

Moreover, if you are very keen on playing guitar and if you are prepared to work for music, you could try to become a staff of some music stores. If you work for the music stores, you would, of course, make money as you would receive salaries. Besides, if you always stay at the store, you would probably be exposed to many experts in music. Then, you would be able to learn a lot of different techniques from them. Apart from guitar, you might fall in love with the piano or other instruments if there are professional musicians which play music beautifully with those instruments. It would be a win-win method to achieve more in music because you can live on it, and on the other hand you would become more professional in that.

Of course, besides these, if you become a staff of a music store, you would surely enjoy some employee benefits such as a discount on buying items from the store. You would also be able to know more about new items available on the market and you could equip yourself with the latest guitars easily and cheaply. Therefore, being a staff of music store is really very beneficial.

To conclude, if you can play your guitar well, you can actually turn your interest to your living. There are many other ways for generating money using your own guitar, and you can freely choose the one which suits you most. Of course, you should bear in mind that you should equip yourself well before teaching others if you decide to become a guitar teacher.
